So yesterday was fun, wasn't it? I'll respond to anymore questions any of y'all might have in that post...just might take me a little bit longer at this point.
Admittedly I'm about a week late on this one that premiered a while ago at Comic Con...and in that time I've been trying to decide whether this will be really awesome, or really suck. What say you?

I'm torn as well. Can't help but be smitten over the image of a giant samurai weilding a minigun, but I really don't know what to think as to whether or not this'll actually be any good. Not like I won't be seeing it anyway.
Like Alice in Wonderland mixed with 300. Looks like the ultimate fantasy for comic book nerds everywhere.
I'll probably wait for you, Darren or Aiden to review this before I see it.
CAVE TROLLS WITH MINI GUNS!!! I'm there!
It looks pretty friggin' sweet if you ask me. What Snyder lacks in solid acting or writing he more than makes up for with his visuals and his action! (Not to say that his actors aren't solid. JEH was amazing in Watchmen)
The action looks awesome, and excellently inspired and imaginative, which is something most action movies these days are missing.
So, yeah. This sold me on the thing, but, I'm not expecting anything Oscar worthy, although, you never know.
@ Aiden... I get the sneaking suspicion that this film will either be bang-on or way-wide.
@ CMRok... Yeah, I've heard that comparison too. Can't say it really pushes me further towards a yay or a nay.
@ Fitz... I'm sure I speak for the other two when i say that nothing brings me more pride than being your cinematic guinea pig.
@ Sebastian... Just listened to your turn hosting the LAMBcast - not so easy being in that driver's seat, is it?
I'm all one for just sitting back and being entertained...but there's a world of difference between WOLFMAN entertaining and IRON MAN 2 entertaining. I hope this can lean a little more towards the latter.
It will obnoxious-rock.
@Hatter: Oh, for sure. If this in WOLFMAN territory, I'm gonna run like a bat out of hell out of that theatre. But, Snyder has proven himself to be a much more competent director than that.
And yeah, hosting is hard. I didn't pick the best episode to host. It was a list ep., so, a lot of what I said was relegated to "Ok, thanks. Next!" Not terribly scintillating, but it was still fun. I'm not gonna be on for awhile (college), but, I'll get back on at some point, and I'm still hoping to be on the Matineecast at some point.
I'll promise to return the favor on a film you're weary of.
this trailer speaks to the unkillable teenager in me. I'm there on opening day.
@ Simon... Is that good?
@ Sebastian... Ah see...the fact that you think the host must only moderate a list discussion by saying "Right, next" shows how much you have to learn about hosting! Can't say that Snyder has proven himself to me as a bonafide draw, but hopefully he can ringlead this circus in an entertaining manner.
@ Fitz... Sure, now you tell me. Where were you when Lady hatter was talking me into STEP UP 3-D
@ Edgar... I think it speaks to the unkillable teenager in a lot of guys out there.
Sorry I couldn't take one for the team on that one.
@ Fitz... I advise you listen to the most recent episode of The Matineecast to soak up just how amazingly bad it was!
It will be loud and boisterous and obnoxious, but you will love it anyway, as will everyone else on the planet, as much as they hate to admit it. So yes. It's good.
