I don't usually post trailers on Mondays, but I'm still on my way back from this summer's ballpark trip, and thus a trailer makes for a nice little stop-gap (especially after how hard I had to wrack my brain for that INCEPTION review!).
Admittedly, hearing about a Facebook movie did nothing to get me excited. Even hearing that it would be helmed by one of my favorite directors - David Fincher - did very little to get me excited.
But now that I've seen this fully realized trailer, I must confess - I am indeed excited. Excuse me while I go post that on my Facebook page...

Right there with ya' on this one. Was pretty skeptical when this was announced, but this was an awesome trailer, David Fincher's still the man and it's apparently scored by Trent Reznor, and that is doubly awesome. Mark Zuckerberg is actually my dentist's son, which is weird. I smell some blackmail coming on!
Me too! I'm very excited to see this. I like this comment.
I've been psyched for this since last year just because part of it was filmed at my school and they used students as extras (sadly I didn't hear about it in time). And I kind of love Jesse Eisenberg and Andrew Garfield.
Also Aaron Sorkin, hello.
I'm still "Ugh" about the prospect of a Facebook movie. The last scene in the trailer, I was like "WTF?". But the rest seems alright.
Still -- a Facebook movie? Ugh.
Damn. I just posted, more or less, the exact same article. Great minds think alike, I guess.
Yeah, I'm definitely excited, but I already was. This trailer didn't add to it, because it was the same dialogue, only with moving people instead of an IM chat. But, that's just me.
@ Aiden... See if your dentist can introduce you to Trent!
@ Celtic... Ditto.
@ Alex... Never been the biggest fan of Sorkin, but the whole "Hey - I know that spot" is a huge movie draw for me too.
@ Sasha... Yeah, I know what you mean. That was me from the time it was announced up until very recently. But I do like the looks of what we see here. Perhaps it won't be so "Ugh".
@ Sebastian... I didn't watch the chat version, so this was all new for me. 'Course now that I've seen it, I'm done finding out about it in advance.
Jesus, man. My life would be half-complete. Afer I arrange that meeting with Clint Eastwood, I'm outta here, baby.
I'm with the group on this, too. How fucking awesome was the usage of "Creep" (and the version) for this? It made the trailer (though Eisenberg looks to be on his game, too).
